These are actually two mechs designed by Victor Musical Industries (Japan) for the Japanese version of the Snes or Super Famcom game called Battletech in Japan (Mechwarrior in the US).
The Mechwarrior version in the west has different designs for the mechs used in their version of the game.
Here is a picture of the original Shadowhawk IIc (not called that in Japan). --> [link] Which is your bottom image.
The original Griffin IIC (not called that in Japan) --> [link] is your top image.
